Utilities Setup

To ensure a seamless move‑in, please set up your essential service accounts with the appropriate utility providers about one week before your move‑in date, as outlined below.

BC Hydro (Electricity)

Electricity is individually metered for each unit through BC Hydro. To set up your account, please contact BC Hydro at 1 800 224 9376.

TELUS (Internet)

Your suite is pre‑wired with TELUS PureFibre Internet, and the TELUS router is pre‑installed inside the in‑wall network panel located in your living room or bedroom closet. The Wi‑Fi network name and password can be found on the label at the bottom of the router (see photo below).

Telus is offering the first 3 months free as an exclusive promotion for Frame homeowners. To set up your service, please contact the TELUS call centre at 855 277 0619.

*For more details, please refer to the TELUS leaflet provided.

Fortis (Heating, Cooling and Domestic Hot Water)

FortisBC Alternative Energy Services Inc. (FAES) owns, operates, and maintains the communal equipment for the Thermal Energy System (TES), which supplies heating, cooling, and domestic hot water to the Strata at the Frame development. No account setup is required with Fortis, as these costs are covered through your monthly Strata fees.

*For further details, please refer to the “TES Service Agreement – Residential Strata, Plain Language Summary”.

Fortis (Natural Gas)

Natural gas used for the TES system, outdoor BBQs, and insuite kitchen gas stoves is supplied through a single shared gas meter. Because these uses are not individually metered, the total natural gas consumption is billed to the strata corporation and covered through your monthly strata fees.
